Celebrating the Exceptional Volunteer Contributions of St Hilliers’ Nick Leggat and Bridget Robinson 👷♂️👷♀️
At St Hilliers, we're not just committed to excellence in our projects but also in fostering a culture of community involvement and support. 🧡 Today, we're immensely proud to recognise two of our outstanding team members, Nick Leggat and Bridget Robinson, for their remarkable volunteer work with the State Emergency Service (SES) in Victoria.
Bridget, our diligent Project Administrator, has been named the most improved team member at the SES annual awards. 🥇 This accolade is a testament to her dedication and skill development in critical areas such as sector and divisional command, road crash rescue operations, chainsaw operations, flood and stormwater recovery, and emergency vehicle response driving.
Her leadership skills shone brightly as she served as a Crew Leader in the recent severe flooding incidents in Seymour, contributing significantly to the regional incident control point (ICP). Bridget's commitment was further highlighted when she met with the Victorian Premier, Jacinta Allan, during a live press conference at the ICP. 📽
Nick Leggat, our Puckapunyal-based Project Manager, has also made exceptional contributions to the Seymour SES. Within just a year of service, Nick has been honoured as Member of The Year, reflecting his dedication to organising and coordinating complex training scenarios. 🏆
These efforts involve multiple agencies, including SES, CFA, Police, Defence, and Ambulance Victoria. Nick's dedication extends beyond training to active duty, where he has taken up significant roles such as a Duty Officer and a Crew Leader for major storm operations.
The recent severe floods in Victoria, with their devastating impacts, highlight the critical importance of volunteer services. Nick and Bridget's contributions, particularly during these challenging times, exemplify the spirit of community service and commitment we value at St Hilliers. Their ability to juggle demanding professional roles while dedicating themselves to volunteer work is nothing short of inspiring.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Nick and Bridget for their dedication and service. They are not just exceptional professionals but also pillars of strength and compassion in the community.
St Hilliers is proud to support and celebrate their achievements. 👏👏👏
