As we settle in for the longer phase of the new norm, experiencing the surprise guest visits on work video conferences from our children, dogs barking in the background, pets making themselves a permanent new bed beside our desks and we start to feel the novelty slowly wearing off, we know it's time to get creative! Keeping up the connection at St Hilliers is front of mind and throwing a bit of creativity into the mix, we’ve introduced Fancy Dress Friday’s for our team catch ups to help bring a little diversity to our weeks whilst working from home.

📣 St Hilliers nears completion at the Stanthorpe Library and Art Gallery Expansion project. 🏛️ A key feature capturing attention is the newly installed Danpalon roofing; In a collaborative decision with the Council, the architect chose Danpalon for its vibrant interplay of color and light. 🌈 This choice modernizes the Library's original portico design and aligns with the Council's corporate color scheme, enhancing the building's visual impact from the park. Thanks to our incredible team of subcontractors at MyCladders for their skilled installation of the roofing. Their precision and craftsmanship have been crucial in bringing this aspect of the project to life. 👏 As we approach the project's final stages, we are excited to unveil the transformed Stanthorpe Library and Art Gallery. This project is a clear indication of St Hilliers' commitment to delivering innovative design and community-focused architecture. #StHilliers #StanthorpeLibrary #Danpaloninnovation #Architecturalexcellence #buildingthefuture Matthew Lampe

Celebrating the Exceptional Volunteer Contributions of St Hilliers’ Nick Leggat and Bridget Robinson 👷♂️👷♀️ At St Hilliers, we're not just committed to excellence in our projects but also in fostering a culture of community involvement and support. 🧡 Today, we're immensely proud to recognise two of our outstanding team members, Nick Leggat and Bridget Robinson, for their remarkable volunteer work with the State Emergency Service (SES) in Victoria. Bridget, our diligent Project Administrator, has been named the most improved team member at the SES annual awards. 🥇 This accolade is a testament to her dedication and skill development in critical areas such as sector and divisional command, road crash rescue operations, chainsaw operations, flood and stormwater recovery, and emergency vehicle response driving. Her leadership skills shone brightly as she served as a Crew Leader in the recent severe flooding incidents in Seymour, contributing significantly to the regional incident control point (ICP). Bridget's commitment was further highlighted when she met with the Victorian Premier, Jacinta Allan, during a live press conference at the ICP. 📽 Nick Leggat, our Puckapunyal-based Project Manager, has also made exceptional contributions to the Seymour SES. Within just a year of service, Nick has been honoured as Member of The Year, reflecting his dedication to organising and coordinating complex training scenarios. 🏆 These efforts involve multiple agencies, including SES, CFA, Police, Defence, and Ambulance Victoria. Nick's dedication extends beyond training to active duty, where he has taken up significant roles such as a Duty Officer and a Crew Leader for major storm operations. The recent severe floods in Victoria, with their devastating impacts, highlight the critical importance of volunteer services. Nick and Bridget's contributions, particularly during these challenging times, exemplify the spirit of community service and commitment we value at St Hilliers. Their ability to juggle demanding professional roles while dedicating themselves to volunteer work is nothing short of inspiring. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Nick and Bridget for their dedication and service. They are not just exceptional professionals but also pillars of strength and compassion in the community. St Hilliers is proud to support and celebrate their achievements. 👏👏👏 #CommunityService #VolunteerWork #SES #StHilliers #Leadership

Exciting Milestone Alert at RAAF Base Amberley! ✈️ St Hillier is proud to announce a significant development in the construction of the new Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at RAAF Base Amberley. We have successfully procured, taken delivery, and installed two state-of-the-art Bio Reactor processing tanks. These tanks play a crucial role in the sewage treatment process, handling the influent with remarkable efficiency. 🔍 Key Details: 📐 Each tank weighs 23 tonnes (empty) and measures 18 meters in length and 5 meters in width. ⚙ Crafted from robust steel, the tanks are coated with a highly durable epoxy paint, ensuring longevity and resilience. 🔬 The influent undergoes a two-zone treatment process within the tanks, where specialised bacteria facilitate the initial stages of sewage treatment. Thanks to Laurie Curran Water Pty Ltd, our contractor, and a specialist in water treatment plant construction, for their expertise and support in supplying these vital components. This advancement marks a leap forward in our commitment to delivering efficient and sustainable infrastructure solutions. What started as a dream in this vibrant community of Nagambie, VIC, has now flourished into an inspiring reality. Last year, together with the incredible residents of Nagambie, we embarked on a journey to raise $20,000, kickstarting a Little Athletics Victoria program for the town's youth. 🚀 With a population of just 2,300, the overwhelming response was nothing short of amazing, with over 55 kids joining the program.
