The President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen accompanied by PM Xavier Bettel and MP Pierre Gramegna visiting Luxembourg and the SES installation which we METAFORM architects completed in 2017 - a scenographical exploration of the world known luxembourgish company in the 3 last decades of expertise and development in satellite implementation. The installation is made over 600 individually selected panels showcasing the timeline evolution of the company in pictures, scans, posters, etc.
Luxembourg has been a pioneer in the use of satellites since the 1970s. And in an age like the present, where rapid progress in IT technology leads to increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks, satellite technology could help to keep our data safe.
The infrastructure for this is based on quantum communication.
Satellites must be fitted with specific equipment - and that's what the SES Satellites team is developing here, as part of the European flagship initiative "Connect".
Projects like these do not just strengthen our European digital sovereignty, they also power the #EU's digital transition.
I was thrilled to give Prime Minister Xavier Bettel the European Commission's green light for Luxembourg's recovery and resilience plan!
Moreover, I was honoured to meet his Royal Highness The Grand Duke of Luxembourg as part of my visit.

There are numerous incredible buildings in the world that are known for their far-out shapes, awe-inspiring designs, and unique styles.
Shapes arguably form the most elemental structure of commercial design. The shapes of walls, roofs, floors, doors, and windows work together to complement and enhance one another while contributing to a visually exciting end product.

Lors d’une entrevue avec SE Reem Al Hashimy, ministre d’État à la Coopération internationale & Managing Director de EXPO2020DUBAI, le ministre de l’Économie Franz Fayot a accepté la proposition des autorités de Dubaï de reprendre le #pavillon 🇱🇺 pour l’amener à une nouvelle utilisation à l’issue de l’Expo2020. Il a ensuite visité le pavillon.

Today was the topping-out ceremony at POST Luxembourg headquarters. Thanks to our client for his trust, to gg KIRCHNER, Jarrid Engel, Anthony Mopty, @kahl Sven, Iulian Mosu, Phillip Barnard, helene Donay, Andrei Clontea and INCA Ingénieurs Conseils Associés S.à r.l., Ney&Partner, Goblet Lavandier & Associés S.A. and the whole team
POST Luxembourg celebrated today, in the presence of the Minister of Economy Franz Fayot, the topping-out ceremony of its future headquarters at Place de la Gare in Luxembourg, marking the completion of the structural work.
The building, designed by the Metaform architects, is scheduled to be inaugurated in the fourth quarter of 2022.
