In a smart city, all infrastructure and operations are interconnected, and one thing happening in one place can have a domino effect causing the whole system to collapse. Arthur Keleti, Cyber-Secret Futurist, Book Author - Speaker, IT Security Strategist at T-Systems, stressed the role of cybersecurity in smart cities. The components cities are building on, such as sensors, cameras, and the systems that are handling privacy-related super-sensitive information, need to be secure. T-Systems is securing systems to reach a minimum level for operations. To Keleti, the biggest challenge is to put decision-makers and people living in the city in the right mind-set, how dealing with privacy matters.
