Well said
Happy Veteran's Day to all who have served in Peace times and Conflict.
I'm sure you have all heard Freedom is not Free. It is always under attack from foreign countries and from ideas posed in casual conversations, which develop into movements.
I posted my daughter's picture with her teammate after scoring a winning goal. The reason behind this image of teammates celebrating victory because I served and seeing that picture minded me of my days serving and that feeling of joy after a successful mission with my soldiers.
I hope we all can relate to this feeling of a team working together to accomplish a mission. I had this similar feeling recently when watching Penn States 'All-White-Out" for a recent game. Nearly 100,000 fans in stands supporting their school's victory. There was no separation of religion, color, sex or economics; just the simple feeling of unity for several hours.
This is the feeling I fought for and soldiers are still defending. The right to stand as one country, not divided by religion, color, creed or economic stature.
Remember our soldiers stand by side with one mission to defend our great nation.
