Today our nation’s capital is back to business. For the July 4th recess, many representatives returned home to take in the fireworks, appear in a parade, and get some likely overdue face-to-face time with their constituents.
As they return to work, we will once again wait and see: did they listen this time? Or will it be Washington as usual? Will there be consequences if your representative continues to play politics? It certainly feels like more eyes are on every branch of government than ever before.
