So, we are suing the MTA ( State of NY Metropolitan Transportation Authority) ... Never in a million years did I think starting a business would lead to a lawsuit. But here I am, working the legal system to change our perspective of pleasure. Short story: The MTA told us Dame Products could advertise on the New York City subways. Then they changed their minds and rejected our ads because they said they don't work with “sexuality oriented businesses.” Confused? We are too. We see ads for sexually oriented businesses on the New York City subway every day. Erectile dysfunction medication, breast augmentations, a campaign centered on "DTF", and museums that sell our products. You get the picture! We use sex to sell products, we think men NEED erections, but when it comes to straightforward ads centered on female pleasure, the conversation stops. It is important we hold space in the world to let people know that sex should be pleasurable. Find out more about how we are fighting to #derailsexism at the link below.

I understand why the transit system would have an issue with the first ad being rather overt. There's children using the transit system.. It not a company's place to educate minors...

Great! The rejection is bigotry, hypocrisy and idiocy combined. If you want a contrasting reference point from abroad to show them it's not that scary, here is an image of a campaign that ran in Stockholm's metro a few years ago. The advertiser is one of the largest pharmacy chains, in turn owned by the country's largest grocery retailer. Translated, it says "Come and buy. Buy and cum" showing a lubricant and a vibrator. In the press release from the pharmacy, the spokesperson said "Sex is good for you and has proven health effects, whether you have it with yourself or someone you like. It feels obvious for us to lift this part of our wide range as well." No negative reactions from what I have heard.

Well, this also reveals another sad truth of our times: if you are a cis-male these days, the easy solution to treating ED is to swallow a pill, so you can continue to perform in the expected pattern. There's more to treating ED than chemistry.
