The best way to stop words from being an afterthought in your design process is by finding allies within your product team. Sit with your designers and devs and product people to talk about how words can help shape the experience and how you all can start working together at an earlier stage. Jane Ruffino created a very interesting approach to help you start that conversation! In her words: "If you’re a writer, you can try this tool with your team, in order to show them the kind of thought processes that go into the crafting of the words." #uxwriting https://lnkd.in/dsvi5be

I find Jane Ruffino's approach especially useful because it's "designed to be an artifact for conversation". Thanks for sharing, Mario!

Love this! A lot of your posts bring up how the UX writer NEEDS to work with the rest of the department. They seem to serve as a liaison, bringing the brand together as a whole. As a UX Writer, do you also work with the brand’s copywriters and content writers?
