I just received the Pico Goblin v1, a big thanks to Wearvr! Now it's time to bring GunSpinning VR to the Pico platform. The headset is almost similar to the Oculus Go in term of hardware. It's powered by a Snap dragon 820, 3 Gb DDR4, 16 Gb eMMC. However it uses Android 6.0 and the controller hasn't a trigger button.
The home looks nice (and has changed since the last update) and the navigation is very simple. But it's not as well integrated as the Oculus Go or the Vive Focus. The SDK for Unity (not yet tried with Unreal, but it's planned), is not good at all! For instance it tries to force you to use the gamma color space, opengl ES2, etc..
I have to take some time to explore the possibilities of this headset. I can't wait to shoot some zombies on it ;)
