I am a little late but here are my predictions for the ad industry this year: 1. Accounts will be won and lost. 2. At least one creative director will leave an agency to start their own. 3. There will be award shows and their value will be repeatedly debated. 4. Agencies will jump on tech fads. 5. Movement of work in-house will be seen as cyclical. 6. Agencies will refuse to acknowledge the threat from consultancies. 7. Consumers will trust their neighbour more than advertising so advertising agencies will target that neighbour. This will pretty much be the same list for next year.
