Copy should not be an afterthought. The right brand voice and taking the time to choose the right words for each message requires a very specific set of skills that have to be honed. Don't ask your designers to write copy, hire a writer and have them work in tandem. Creative agencies have done it for years, Art&Copy are the cornerstones of advertising.
