The Future of Literacy is Digital

The COVID-19 pandemic has created challenges for education models and put a spotlight on the role of technology in distance learning and in-person settings. Educators, students and their families continue to encounter roadblocks, especially when it comes to supporting students with disabilities.

In the first of this three-part series of programs, Ky Vu, Benetech Advisory Council member, will lead a conversation with education and industry experts to discuss a future vision of equitable education. Specifically, the panel will examine considerations to ensure equitable access to digital literacy tools for all students, including those with learning differences and disabilities. They’ll explore whether the future of literacy is digital centric and whether the implications of those solutions actually lead to accessible solutions.
