The Green Transition is all around us. The Circular Economy is a resilient system that regenerates the environment, creates new jobs and ultimately decouples economic growth from the depletion of finite resources, tackling climate change and biodiversity loss, while fostering SMEs growth and innovation.
The Hellenic LSE Alumni Association, the Hellenic LSESU Society, the LSE Circular Economy Society and a dynamic group of key stakeholders on climate action, such as Sporos Platform, the first Circular Economy impact investing Fund in Southeast Europe, EIT Climate KIC, the Research Laboratory on Socio-Economic and Environmental Sustainability (ReSEES) of the Athens University of Economics and Business, the Athena Research Centre, Symbiosis and major business leaders, are joining their forces to organise a hybrid public event at the LSE campus, under the title: "Circular Economy for Climate Resilience: empowering the Transition". We are very happy and honoured that LSE Grantham Institute on Climate Change, one of the leading stakeholders on climate neutrality around the globe, is supporting the event and Ms Danae Kyriakopoulou, Senior Policy Fellow of Grantham Institute will chair the discussion.
Come to explore how we can decisively put in action the Circular Transition and enable climate resilience in the most efficient way. A group of dynamic stakeholders are addressing major policy developments, spreading business best practices and empowering climate-financing tools and impact investment strategies, with a special focus on Greece & Southeast Europe.
