Imagine if you took all those stupid, generic cold DMs and InMails that you get on LinkedIn... and approached people with those same annoying pitches... IN REAL LIFE.
Yes, I did the unthinkable.
I decided to take all those annoying cold DMs, and test the waters at a local mall.
Let's just say... it was a bloodbath.
Key Lessons for Sales Reps:
1. Talk out your cold emails / DMs out loud BEFORE you send them. If you sound ridiculous, you probably are going to get rejected.
2. We've been saying this for too long now, but generic spray and pray doesn't work. If the evidence from this video doesn't prove that, I don't know what will.
3. Ask your CMO, your VP of Marketing, etc to show you examples of all the sales pitches they get.
