#OpenTelemetry is the most active project in the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) after Kubernetes. Over 𝟏.𝟏𝐤 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟗.𝟏𝐤 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐬 contribute code, amounting to tens of thousands of code commits and pull requests. OTel's leap from the merge of OpenTracing+OpenCensus back in 2019 and until today is astonishing at any scale for an #opensource project.
