The value of SDRs? Here's some math for you. SaaS companies are valued at 10x revenue. $5M in revenue equals a $50M valuation. So if you close a $50K deal, you just increased your company valuation by $500K. The average cold outbound SDR on my team helps AEs close an additional $750K in revenue per year (Some of our SDRs are in the $2M+). Therefore, investing in an amazing SDR will increase your company valuation by $7.5M... at a cost of.... $150K (salary, benefits, tools, management costs, etc.) Account for 1/2 of the AE cost for another $150K if need be. Tell me any other way to turn $300K into $7.5M. #SDRsMatter PS. Yes if your SDRs and AE suck you could spend the $300K and close $0... but again, that's why you need THE BEST team and not just a "low cost" operation.
