How do you build a platform that doesn’t fall apart when the world does? This month gave us two very different stress tests: • A global Cloudflare outage that took huge chunks of the web offline • And separately, Black Friday traffic that pushed systems everywhere to their limits. One event broke the internet. The other overloaded it. Both proved the same point: most platforms aren’t built for real-world chaos. At Wix, we’ve spent years preparing for exactly these scenarios. Ben Chen, Engineering Group Manager at Wix, gives a rare behind-the-scenes look at the resilience work that makes it possible. Link in 1st comment ⬇️⬇️⬇️ Wix Engineering

Wix reposted this
"I don't just serve food, I create moments" I love this quote from one of our users. This is what we just released to our restaurants users. Wix Restaurant Experiences: It lets restaurants package and sell unique moments, wine tastings, chef classes, “sunset window” upgrades, limited-seat menus, right on their site, on brand. Congratulations Igor and team that made this release, well done!

Hey, I'm Amanda 👋 and I lead the LLM Visibility team at Wix I took over the Wix page today to talk about GEO and site discoverability. LLMs are quickly becoming the go-to place for research - and people trust what they find there. If your brand’s missing from the results, here’s how to make sure it gets discovered: 👇 ↳ Determine your brand messaging and then keep it consistent. So, say, your main business and money maker is your flower business, but on the side, you also sell chocolate- stick to describing yourself as a flower business that also sells chocolate, rather than a chocolate business, to build the association between your brand name and flowers. ↳ LLMs look for honest conversations across the web. Even if your business isn’t mentioned directly, keep an eye on discussions around your niche on platforms like Reddit, Quora, or Yelp and see if there is any way to chime in, mentioning your business, but in an authentic way. ↳ Build your site around real use cases. If different types of people visit your site, make sure there’s something for each of them. Back to the flower shop scenario - create a page for the chocolates you offer alongside your flowers to reach people looking for a more complete gift option. ↳ There are lots of tools popping up around this industry to help you understand what's appearing in LLMs. Use them- especially to get a sense of what sources are being cited for your niche. This will help guide you in where to prioritize your efforts.

Hey, I’m Noa, Accessibility Expert at Wix 👋 I’m taking over the Wix page today to talk about site accessibility - don’t scroll away just yet, I promise it’s worth it 😉 Accessibility is built into everything we do - from the first idea to the final product. Our goal is to make it easy for anyone to create accessible websites, and for everyone to enjoy them without barriers. So I've gathered a few quick, easy-to-apply tips you can start using today to make your own site more accessible for your users 👇 → Start with accessibility in mind from day one - you’ll save resources, frustration and end up with a better, more consistent, and inclusive product. → Accessibility and design aren’t rivals - the best products are both beautiful and built for everyone. I can genuinely say that together, they create products that truly stand out. → Alt text helps everyone experience your visuals - it tells the story behind the image. Remember to add it anywhere you upload visuals -images, GIFs, or graphics — including on social media. At Wix, you can do this easily across all our products, from the Editors to the Accessibility Wizard. I want to keep it short and screen-friendly, so I dropped 3 more tips in the comments 👇 **In the image: Noa stands in an office holding her laptop, with accessibility posters on the wall behind her.
