Athlètes et entraîneurs de Pointe-Claire récipiendaires de prix 🏆 Nous sommes fiers des plongeurs olympiques Caeli McKay et Nathan Zsombor-Murray ainsi que des entraîneurs Yihua Li et Jim Wynne du Club de plongeon de Pointe-Claire qui ont remporté des prix lors du Gala annuel de Plongeon Canada ! ✨ Nathan, et son coéquipier olympique de plongeon synchronisée Rylan Weiss, ont reçu le prix de plongeurs masculins de l'année. ✨Caeli a remporté le prix de plongeuse de l'année ✨Yihua a reçu le prix de l'entraîneur senior de l'année ✨Jim a remporté le titre d'entraîneur junior de l'année. Campagne annuelle Centraide 🤝💞 Les employé(e)s municipaux s’impliquent pour soutenir la communauté avec la campagne annuelle Centraide du Grand Montréal. En 2024, la mobilisation du personnel a permis de récolter un montant de 19 667,81 $. In 2024, staff mobilized to raise a total of $19,667.81. Mon beau sapin, roi des forêts…🎄 Jeudi 28 novembre, une ambiance festive régnait au Service des finances. Les employé(e)s, accompagnés de leurs enfants, s’étaient donné rendez-vous pour une soirée spéciale de décoration. Ensemble, ils ont transformé leurs bureaux et l’arbre de Noël à l’entrée de l’hôtel de ville en un spectacle de lumières et de couleurs. Les enfants, émerveillé(e)s, ont eu l’opportunité unique de visiter la salle du conseil, découvrant ainsi les lieux où se prennent les grandes décisions de la Ville. La soirée s’est conclue autour d’une délicieuse pizza. Ce moment convivial a permis de renforcer les liens entre collègues et de faire naître l’esprit des fêtes, apportant chaleur et joie à tous les participants. --- O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree… 🎄   Thursday, November 28, holiday cheer was in full swing in the Finance Department as employees and their children got together for a special evening of decorating. Together, they transformed their offices and the Christmas tree at the entrance to City Hall into a spectacle of light and colour.   The delighted children had the unique opportunity to visit the Council Chamber and see where the City’s major decisions are made.   The evening ended with some delicious pizza. 💼 Investir dans le bien-être et le développement professionnel de notre équipe est une priorité pour la Ville de Pointe-Claire ! Jeudi dernier, nous avons participé à deux conférences enrichissantes : 🔹 Sabine Assuied nous a sensibilisés aux facteurs de risques psychosociaux en milieu de travail. Grâce à ses précieux conseils, nos cadres ont pu approfondir leur compréhension des risques et des stratégies de prévention pour assurer un environnement de travail sain et sécuritaire pour tous. 🔹 Marcel Forget nous a partagé son parcours inspirant et la “règle du 7 %” - ce pourcentage qui nous rappelle combien il est important d’être attentifs à ce qui est réellement communiqué. Une approche enrichissante pour tirer des leçons de chaque défi et avancer avec résilience. Ces moments d’apprentissage et de réflexion nous permettent d’aller de l’avant en équipe, de mieux accompagner nos collègues et de renforcer notre engagement envers le bien-être de tous. With her valuable guidance, our managers gained a deeper understanding of these risks and effective prevention strategies, helping us maintain a healthy, safe work environment for everyone. 🔹 Marcel Forget shared his inspiring journey and the “7% Rule”—a reminder of the importance of truly paying attention to what’s being communicated. His approach provided valuable insights on learning from every challenge and moving forward with resilience. These moments of learning and reflection help us grow as a team, better support our colleagues, and strengthen our commitment to everyone’s well-being.
