⛳ Thank you golfers! ⛳ Last week, the Melbourne advertising industry came together to swing and putt for good at the UnLtd Open golf tournament. The annual event, sponsored by oOh!media, brings the industry together over 18 holes of golf, to raise funds for UnLtd’s work supporting charities helping young people at risk. The golfers were treated to special surprises by our hole sponsors, ranging from hot pies and cold juices to giant Jenga building competitions. We also got to hear from our charity partner Kids Under Cover about the important work they do to prevent youth homelessness. Congratulations to Channel Factory for taking home the trophy and to oOh!media and Scentre Group (Owner of Westfield destinations in Aus and NZ) for podium positions! Proud is an understatement this morning. This bunch of absolute legends slept on the mean streets of Eveleigh all night last night to raise awareness and much needed funds for Youth Homelessness. Not only did they experience a fraction of what it’s like to sleep rough, but they raised over $5k in the process. When we talk about values, it can often be a vacuous conversation, we have heard it all before. But not this time. You guys all demonstrated what it means to be PHD – Courageous to the max. Thank you for your dedication, your follow through, putting your words into actions, and truly showing your commitment to such an important cause. Today, we launch our biggest ever advocacy campaign with Raise the Age NSW, to call on the NSW government to raise the age of criminal responsibility. The emotional campaign created by Tag and with media by Carat Australia, aims to educate the public that currently, the age of criminal responsibility in NSW is 10 and that is too young. Over 30 organisations across the advertising industry are supporting the campaign with over $2.3M of pro-bono media already donated.
