  • There's a sophisticated and sneaky new threat targeting banking apps. Is yours at risk? The Godfather is a dangerous trojan malware that lurks in the shadows of your phone, waiting to hijack your banking apps, often without you even noticing. Through elaborate high-tech means, it mimics these apps to steal login credentials, drain accounts, even take over your phone. Android users are especially at risk. At Umpqua Bank, the safety and security of our customers and their accounts is our priority. We’ve made it our mission to increase fraud awareness and to help customers navigate an always-changing, complex fraud landscape. Today, we’re warning customers of a new version of Godfather malware that’s making headlines and posing as their favorite banking apps. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/g2tWXJbp Member FDIC
