Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance. 🏳️⚧️ 🕊️ It’s a day to honor the lives of transgender people lost to violence, hatred, and systemic discrimination. We remember them as individuals with dreams, love, and humanity who deserved so much more. At Trans Rescue, our mission is to fight for a world where trans people don’t have to fear for their safety or their futures. Today, we pause to reflect on the lives lost, but also to reaffirm our commitment to protecting, supporting, and uplifting trans people everywhere. We remember: 🩷 The trans people whose lives were cut short. 🤍 The trailblazers who fought for our rights. 🩵 Those who live their truth every day, despite unimaginable risks. 💖 Those who couldn’t speak out but remain in our hearts. Let us honor their memories by continuing the fight for safety, equality, and dignity for all trans people. 🌈 Jackson Lewis, still adjusting to his recent election to the Canyons School Board District 1, has become Utah’s youngest elected official. 🎓 Just a year ago, Lewis graduated from Hillcrest High School.
