Theiss UAV Solutions, LLC designs, develops, and produces UAS (Drones), C-UAS Payloads and Systems, and provides UAS Piloting/inspection services. Our company has been in manned and unmanned aviation since 1991, and a contractor supplying the U.S. DoD since 1998, and is recognized as a Woman-owned Small Business. We have filled Prime and Subcontractor roles in various DoD projects, as well as non-DoD projects. In addition to providing the hardware/systems within these projects, we also provide/offer consultation, engineering, testing support, and training services. BETTER THAN AN “EASY BUTTON!” This plug-n-play system enables autonomous UAV operations with multiple pre-programmed missions, without the need for a ground control station (GCS) or remote control. The system integrates a four-button interface on the UAV, allowing users to select and initiate one of four preset missions. Auditory feedback confirms mission selection and provides a countdown to launch, ensuring operational safety. This system is particularly valuable in environments where simplicity and reliability are critical, such as in package pickup and delivery, search and rescue missions, automated agricultural operations, or industrial inspections. “PUNCH IT!!!” After almost 2 years of rigorous development and testing, it’s ready! This is the Agilis Quad “A” (aka: “Weasel”). The UAV is constructed of carbon fiber, aluminum, and plastic components, yielding a lightweight yet durable airframe. There is no assembly required to prepare the craft for flight; simply remove the UAV from its carrying case/backpack, plug in the battery, and push the arming button when ready to launch. The UAV offers both a Daylight FPV camera, and an IR FPV camera (optional), allowing the UAV to be operated during day or night. Simply flip the switch on the pilot controller to switch between the two cameras. The live video stream can be received on the ground through either pilot worn video goggles, or a small laptop or tablet. The UAV has a flight controller that allows the operator to fly the UAV in full manual mode, manual mode with autopilot stabilization assistance, or fully autonomous through GPS waypoint flying. The UAV is able to carry up to 2 lbs. of payload, and offers a servo port for controlling the desired payload through the flight controller. Finally, the UAV offers high-performance flight characteristics; able to achieve speeds over 60 mph (in autonomous mode) or over 80 mph (in manual mode) for over 17 minutes of flight with full payload weight, or up to 27 minutes of flight with lighter payloads and less aggressive flight speeds. Just completed successful testing of our latest version of the Validus Hex "B-V2" UAS. This rugged Hexacopter can carry up to 20 lbs. of payload, fly for up to 30 minutes, and is NDAA compliant. Currently under evaluation by the U.S. Army as a short-range platform for multiple use scenarios.
