About us
The Stables Autism Program has been designed to prepare individuals for a life of independence through social integration and practical skill development. Treatment at the program emphasizes self-efficacy, access to intrinsic motivation, and the development of a healthy identity. Our highly trained professionals use evidence-based strategies to help individuals engage with one another, problem-solve, and communicate. Combining these strategies with nature-based activities and social integration make the difference in our program. We bring autism treatment to a new level with our professional expertise and the understanding of research, which allows us to fill the treatment gap in a meaningful and innovative way.

At The Stables Autism Program, clients live in a supportive residential home designed to feel just like that — a home. This environment helps build real-life skills like cooking, cleaning, and daily routines in a safe, structured setting. Just steps away, our on-site stable offers a unique opportunity for growth through caring for animals. As clients progress through treatment, they take on responsibilities like feeding, grooming, and following care routines — strengthening skills like communication, task-following, and emotional regulation.
