I have to say that I don't envy the federal government the decision that it faces (by the end of this year) about Canada's 2035 emissions-reduction target. It seems like a no-win situation. A relatively ambitious target means mockery for not even being on track to meet the country's existing ones (notwithstanding that the numbers are finally moving in the right direction, at least); a relatively unambitious one means being blasted by progressives for embracing being an international laggard. Anyway, at least today's recommendations by Ottawa's Net-Zero Advisory Body help set the ambition bar. https://lnkd.in/gSU5hFY7
