  • Supporting our communities 🤝 Stagecoach South East, recently partnered up with Age UK Hythe, Lyminge and Ashford, to volunteer building new tables, to replace a their well-used older ones. A group of colleagues from across the South East joined the effort, including Managing Director Joel Mitchell and Commercial Director Katherine Jones, to help create comfortable, reliable seating spaces for the older people who visit the centres. These new tables will support a range of activities - from arts and crafts to social catch-ups - helping to make the centres welcoming places where people can relax, connect, and feel part of a community. It was a real pleasure speaking with their members and seeing how much these spaces mean to them. It was also a great reminder of the importance of community initiatives like this, and of how our partnerships with organisations such as Age UK can make a meaningful difference. #Stagecoach #StagecoachBus #Community #AgeUK

  • Stagecoach driver tackles walking challenge for heart-warming festive cause 🚶♂️🎅✨ A Stagecoach Merseyside bus driver has donned his warmest coat and walking boots to raise money for underprivileged local children. St Helens born and bred Stephen Harris walked the 13.2-mile route from his hometown bus station to Liverpool One to raise money for the Stagecoach Gillmoss depot’s 2025 Toy Appeal. Run annually, the appeal invites Stagecoach colleagues to raise money to buy toys for underprivileged children across the Merseyside community, helping to make sure every child has something to open this Christmas. Last year, over 238 toys were donated and distributed through local resource centres and schools, including Centre 63, St Helens, and Kirkby High School, reaching families who needed support the most. #Stagecoach #StagecoachBus #SupportingOurCommunities

  • Stagecoach Merseyside pledges support to vital children's charity 💙 Last month, our Gillmoss depot in Liverpool welcomed some very special guests: the incredible Roald Dahl Nurses from Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity. These dedicated specialists provide vital care and support to children living with complex and lifelong conditions - and to their families who face unimaginable challenges every day. Specialist nurses visited our Gillmoss depot in Croxteth on Tuesday 28th October to raise employee awareness about the vital work they do across the region. The visit is one of several taking place across the country as we renew our national partnership with the charity, doubling our annual donation to £50,000 for 2025. This visit also kickstarted a campaign of regional fundraising; starting with Gillmoss Engineering Manager, Richard Burns and Assistant Manager, David Vosper running the Silverstone Half Marathon event on 23 November to raise funds for this incredible cause. 👉 Learn more about the charity's incredible work: https://stge.co/4a0hA1t 👉 Support Richard and David’s challenge: https://stge.co/4pfdgjf #Stagecoach #StagecoachBus #RoaldDahlCharity #SupportingOurCommunities

  • Celebrating 10 Years of the Children in Need ‘Pudsey’ Bus! A huge well done to our Portsmouth bus driver Rachael Street, who was recently interviewed by BBC Radio Solent for her incredible work leading the Children in Need ‘Pudsey’ bus project for the past 10 years! This year’s bright yellow bus, covered in Pudsey’s signature spots, will be travelling across Portsmouth and Southsea from 10 November, helping to spread smiles and raise funds for a fantastic cause. Even Pudsey himself couldn’t resist hopping into the driver’s seat! As part of the BBC’s 1,000 Mile Challenge, Rachel teamed up with radio presenter Katie Martin - literally strapped together at the leg! - as they travelled from Southsea Terminal to the Spinnaker Tower in Gunwharf Quays. Katie Martin, Presenter at BBC Radio Solent, said: “We were thrilled to meet Rachel and discover more about the Pudsey bus! Thank you to all the passengers who have supported BBC Children in Need - you’re amazing!” 👏 Well done, Rachel, and thank you for helping bring 10 years of colour and care across the Portsmouth community!

  • Pudsey Bear kicked off his epic 1,000-mile walk for BBC Children in Need this week at the St Ives Park & Ride! Naturally, he couldn’t resist a ride on the world’s longest Busway - and who could blame him? He hopped on, shared a few smiles with our team, and brought a whole lot of cheer along. We’re proud to support BBC Children in Need and the amazing difference it makes for young people across the UK. 💛 #Stagecoach #StagecoachBus #ChildrenInNeed

  • Stagecoach East team encouraged to become Dementia Friends 💙 Drivers, Engineers, and Support Teams across Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire have been getting on board a specially dedicated bus - and riding into a new understanding of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Our Wellbeing on Wheels (WoW) Bus has visited all four depots, reaching more than 800 colleagues, encouraging everyone to learn more about dementia, speak with an expert advisor, and become a Dementia Friend. On board the WoW Bus, members of the team from the Alzheimer’s Society ran interactive and informative Dementia Friend Sessions. A Dementia Friend is somebody that learns more about dementia, how it can affect someone and the small ways they can make a different in their communities. It could be checking in on a friend who is caring for someone with dementia, being more patient in the shop queue, or taking part in a fundraising event. Too many people living with dementia still feel isolated or misunderstood. By becoming Dementia Friends, our teams are helping to change that - one kind gesture at a time. 💙 #Stagecoach #WeSupportOurCommunities #Dementia #AlzheimersSociety
