The Board of Directors of Skagit Farmers Supply & Country Store and Alaska Garden & Pet Supply, Inc. have announced that Skagit Farmers will acquire Alaska Garden & Pet in a purchase that will close at the end of this month. Our Skagit Farmers Supply & Country Store 2025 Leadership Retreat kicked off with our team traveling to Spokane, WA this week. Upon arrival, the bus driver didn't have a chance to shut things down before AFCO Distribution & Milling Mill Manager Kyle Morgan had us in the mill and proudly showed off the new FUJI ROBOTICS and American-Newlong, Inc. automation. We watched the local grains, Performance Horse Nutrition technology and Alltech ingredients combine to create another batch of LMF Feeds, Inc. Senior and sent it out the door! This year’s Fourth of July parade in downtown Oak Harbor was one for the books—and not just because of the sunshine, music, and spectacular display of small-town pride. We’re thrilled to share that our float captured hearts and took home the Best Theme Interpretation trophy for this year’s parade theme: Red, White & BOOM! Congratulations on taking the top prize in Oak Harbor. Our Burlington team took 2nd place overall for Burlington's Berry Dairy Days parade.
