It’s a milestone moment for Sesame Street. Season 56 of Sesame Street debuted last week on Netflix and PBS KIDS and quickly became the #1 kids show on Netflix in the US and regions around the world. In its first week alone, Season 56 content was streamed more than 9 million times on PBS KIDS platforms. Writer Emily Horgan underscored that this momentum reflects “deliberate, strategic endeavors to cook up the perfect footprint across the most relevant touchpoints of modern-day preschool audiences.” She further noted that Sesame Street’s approach to Roblox “offers a strong reference point for preschool brands… age-appropriate, safe, and genuinely additive for young audiences rather than purely promotional.” From Netflix and PBS KIDS to YouTube and Roblox, thank you for your continued support as we meet kids where they are and advance our mission to help children everywhere grow smarter, stronger, and kinder.
