There is still time to purchase an art piece from our Mahonia Crossing project while supporting a great cause! "Connecting all the Pieces: Mahonia Crossing Art Exhibition" is a donation-based art sale and installation that's now live on our website and at our office headquarters in Portland. Sales of this elementary-aged student art will benefit the Salem Art Association. Scott Edwards Architecture is excited to announce "Connecting all the Pieces: Mahonia Crossing Art Exhibition and Sale," a donation-based art sale and installation that's now live on our website and at our office headquarters in Portland. Our design approach promotes the integration of art and architecture. This is the case with Mahonia Crossing, a mixed-income “Community for All Ages” housing development in Salem that incorporated art created by elementary-aged students from a nearby school. The art consists of collages, paintings, and drawings, some of which required scanning the original and printing on fade-resistant paper. This left SEA with a handful of wonderful original pieces, sparking an idea to pass the art forward while supporting a great cause, the Salem Art Association.
