Leveraging AQ - the powerful compound effects of AI + Quantum technology
About us
In the tech and data intelligence worlds, a sandbox is where innovation is born. It’s a place where the brightest free-thinking minds from across disciplines come together to reimagine what’s possible. A collaborative environment where the whole is infinitely greater than the sum of the parts. At SandboxAQ, this forward-looking vision is core to everything we do. It’s how we became who we are and it’s how we know our solutions can shift the way your business competes in tomorrow’s marketplace. As the world enters the third quantum revolution, AI + Quantum software will address significant business and scientific challenges. SandboxAQ is a B2B company delivering AI solutions that address some of the world's greatest challenges. The company’s Large Quantitative Models (LQMs) deliver critical advances in life sciences, financial services, navigation, cyber and other sectors. The company emerged from Alphabet Inc. as an independent, growth capital-backed company in 2022, funded by leading investors including T. Rowe Price, Eric Schmidt, Breyer Capital, Guggenheim Partners, Marc Benioff, Thomas Tull, Paladin Capital Group, and others.

What if AI could design new drugs, materials... even medicines for diseases once thought untreatable? Unlike language models, LQMs are trained on the laws of physics, enabling them to simulate complex molecular interactions with incredible precision. The result? Faster drug discovery, less reliance on animal testing, and the ability to design novel compounds across pharma, defense, and materials science. If you've are wondering where quantitative AI is making the biggest impact in pharma, materials science, and defense — or what separates LQMs from other forms of AI in life sciences, this episode of the Artificial Intelligence Podcast is what you've been searching for: https://lnkd.in/gd549qtQ

Kelly Richdale highlighting the value of #Quantum for #Financial Services with the World Economic Forum
Independent Board Member | Digital transformation | AI, Quantum & Blockchain | Cybersecurity & Risk Management I
Last week I hosted a World Economic Forum Strategic Insights panel on #Quantum for #Financial Services with Marcin Detyniecki (AXA) and Bilge Köroğlu (Yapı Kredi Bank). As #quantum computing moves from theory to practical application, financial institutions are exploring its transformative potential. Marcin shared his insights on AXA's work with quantum computing for the optimisation of reinsurance contracts, and Bilge discussed her bank's pilot to improve predictions of financial crashes in enterprises. We talked about the projects, and how the companies chose which topics to address. Both problems suffer from combinatorial explosion, where the number of possibilities grows exponentially, and where improved results can be obtained even on today's early quantum computers. The projects are showcased on the the Forum's #Quantum Application Hub: https://lnkd.in/e4tZ7KyH You can read more case studies on Quantum Technologies in Financial Services in the Forum's white paper: https://lnkd.in/eRcUP4-u For those who have access you can see the replay on the Forum Toplink here: https://lnkd.in/esgVF5hD Thanks to both panelists for a fascinating discussion!
