The twins are talking! 🛰️ 🛰️ We have successfully established contact with both ESCAPADE spacecraft, Blue and Gold, following launch on Blue Origin's New Glenn rocket today. We're on our way to Mars to enable NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration and University of California, Berkeley Space Sciences Lab to study the Martian magnetosphere! The twins have quite the journey ahead to get to the Red Planet. Blue and Gold are embarking on a unique path to Mars never traversed by any other mission. After a 10-month cruise, ESCAPADE will arrive at Mars in September 2027. Over several months, the two spacecraft will arrange themselves into their initial science formation. The science campaign will begin in June 2028.
