Last night we had the pleasure of sponsoring AI Finland's AI Gala in Turku – a celebration of the people and projects shaping the future of Finnish AI. ✨ One of the highlights was seeing researchers, companies, and public-sector leaders all take the stage. Bringing these perspectives together is essential if we want to unlock the full benefits of AI while managing risks responsibly. Our CEO, Pekka Horo, presented the Visionary AI Leader of the Year Award – congratulations once again to Samuel Kaski, Founding Director of the ELLIS Institute Finland. Pekka also moderated a fascinating panel discussion with three award winners: Samuel Kaski, AI Leader of the Year, Pekka Abrahamsson, Artificial Intelligence Scientist of the Year, and Ekku Jokinen, Co-founder & CTO of Inven, AI Startup of the Year. We also want to congratulate Orion Pharma, who were finalists for the AI Innovation of the Year for their innovation, Orion Cube. Orion Cube is an agent-based LLM tool developed together with Reaktor that helps researchers find and structure information from massive multilingual and multi-format datasets, such as research articles, patents, and reports. Finalists at the AI Gala Finland 2025! 🏆 Together with Orion Pharma, we’ve been shortlisted for AI Innovation of the Year for our collaboration on Orion Cube – an agent-based LLM tool that helps researchers find and organize information from massive multilingual datasets like research papers, patents, and reports. The results have been transformative: Orion’s researchers can now retrieve and analyze information up to 90% faster, with over 1,000 experts already using the tool across units. This recognition celebrates not only technological innovation, but the real-world impact of AI when it’s built hand-in-hand with domain experts. Our teams will present the story at the AI Gala, taking place on November 17.
