Ad copy littered with seasonal puns. Designs dripping in snowflakes. Music jingling way too much for anyone's liking. Sounds like the makings of a stereotypical consumer Christmas campaign. But what might one of those look like in the B2B world? Well, for literally no reason at all, here it is. #Christmas #B2BChristmas #B2BAgency

It’s Christmas – and your most ambitious client suddenly wants a festive B2B campaign

  • When we rebranded as Publicis Pro, we set out to establish a new company-wide purpose—something we were truly passionate about and could make a meaningful impact on. After a series of internal workshops, one cause clearly stood out: improving access to creative industries. It’s no secret that marketing and creative careers are often inaccessible to many young people, with the industry facing ongoing challenges around socio-economic diversity. We were determined to take action. To make it happen, we knew we needed the right partner—and that's where The Talent Foundry came in. Their mission to empower students with practical skills and career opportunities perfectly aligned with our vision. Together, we co-created and branded a new initiative: Turning Pro. What is Turning Pro? Read about it here. https://lnkd.in/ejPdkmUE

Introducing "Turning Pro", our new partnership with charity The Talent Foundry, to bring our bit of the marketing world to the classrooms of everyday kids. So proud that we could do this, because ‘the inspiration gap’ for school leaver kids about work and business is something I really worry about. This is a personal thing for me, having had people in my life who took the time to help me figure out what work was about and showed me a new exciting world beyond the classroom (you know who you are Mrs Hawkins!). And of course, having my own kids now and trying to encourage them to think big, be curious and inspire them to work hard on thinking about the world of work. Since we started the agency we have always offered work experience placements to anyone who approaches us, so they get to see work and agency life at first hand. And in doing that I’ve seen countless examples how a little bit of time, attention and inspiration can literally change a young person’s outlook on their future. Or maybe even lead them to ultimately get a job or decide on a career path. Turning Pro is our own little attempt to open up our brilliant Publicis Pro agency culture and showcase the things we get to do every day for some of the world’s most exciting businesses, to London kids on their home turf. And if we inspire just one of them to apply themselves a bit more towards their goals in life, it will be time very well spent. We get tons out of it too – ideas, energy, perspective and well just hanging out with more young talented people. I’ve never seen a bunch of Pro’s so excited returning back to the office after their first session at Walworth Academy. Just look at them 👇 So thanks to the Talent Foundry Cate Smith Julia Canavan Jenni Anderson for partnering with us so brilliantly and can’t wait to see what we can achieve over the next few years. More details and background on Turning Pro in comments below if you want to find out more, but we’ll be sure to report back on how it develops. Are we sleepwalking into a crisis that frays the fabric of how we think forever? Maybe. Maybe not. All I know is: the rush to automate and ramp up productivity has a long tail, and if we don't tread carefully to protect the thinking future... we're in danger. Have a read of A Gathering Storm - the lead article of our new print mag, Untrended, from Publicis Pro. And if you'd like to get your mitts on a physical copy, drop me a DM. https://lnkd.in/e6773SVq
