MWC Las Vegas this year reinforced my belief that telcos around the world are in the best position to deliver high-impact AI products to the masses. In terms of reach, they serve nearly every human and business in existence. In physical proximity, they reach your home and business directly, and can run inference in your neighborhood. In terms of resources, nobody is capitalized like telco. And in terms of regulation, they are protected, critical utilities that align with step-change improvements in international infrastructure (6G coming as soon as 2028). MWC brought together leaders in many of these areas who I had the privilege of meeting with. And it was especially cool seeing our CEO Suman Kanuganti on stage to discuss the work we are doing in telco. As all things converge; 6G, AI Factories, Sovereign AI, and Small Language Models, Personal AI is focused on delivering the core SLM platform optimized for telco, to power new experiences across SMB, Consumer, and Enterprise.
