Last week, we gathered with our incredible franchise owners and their teams to celebrate Penn Station’s Annual Meeting — and what a milestone it was. With over 320 restaurants and 40 years of craveable success under our belts, this year was all about honoring our past and paving the way for the next 40 years. I had the great privilege of speaking at the Restaurant Leadership Conference this week on a panel hosted by Epsilon and led by Michael Giancola. The session, “The More You Know: Fueling the Personal in Personalization,” focused on how brands can go beyond broad segments to create truly meaningful customer connections. I shared my perspective on how personalization can drive sales growth as brands: • Record and aggregate individual customer visit and product usage data, with owned media engagement data, and demographic insights from a variety of sources while ensuring customer privacy • Realize unique customer insights, usage occasions and opportunities using AI predictive analytics • Reach customers with creative variations enabled with generative AI to tailor messaging to individual customer journeys As marketing continues to evolve, personalization isn’t just a tactic—it’s a growth strategy. It was energizing to be in a room full of leaders pushing the industry forward.
