✨ Inspiring visit yesterday from students of the Digital Business degree at ESIC University✨ They discovered what we do, explored the potential of robotics in real business contexts, asked smart and challenging questions, and even had the chance to meet and interact with some of our robots.🤖 It’s always inspiring to see how technology and business converge, and how the next generation is preparing to apply innovation in meaningful ways. These students reminded us that the future of robotics is not only about engineering, it’s about strategy, empathy, creativity and vision.🚀 🙌Thank you for your enthusiasm, your questions, and your energy! #Robotics #DigitalBusiness #Innovation #FutureTalent #Education #Technology

💛🙌🏼 Great experience at the WeMind International Forum! We attended the event with our partners from the #ROBOCAT consortium at the Robocat experiential booth. It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our work in assistive robotics and demonstrate how innovation can support autonomy, wellbeing and quality of life. We had the pleasure of sharing the booth with: LabORA - Laboratori Obert de Robòtica Assistencial, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Group Saltó, WeMind Cluster, CSIC, acceXible, i2CAT Research Centre, Eurecat - Centro Tecnológico, YASYT, Suara Cooperativa, Parc Sanitari Pere Virgili, Consorci Sanitari de Terrassa, ASOCIACIÓN AVI and Datision. This project we’re all working on, ROBOCAT, aims to address ageing and growing care needs by developing a modular robotic platform, a digital management system and applications for social, cognitive, physical and health support. ✨ 🎤Also, our colleague Joel Garcia joined the Expert Panel on Assistive Robotics, highlighting that robots are here to collaborate and that co-creation with professionals and end users is essential to build meaningful solutions. Thank you to all partners and visitors who stopped by, and also to WeMind Cluster for organizing it. Let’s continue shaping technology that supports people!🫂 #WeMind #ROBOCAT #assistiverobotics #innovation #agingwell #Barcelona #healthcare #robotics

Two months after #CoRL2025, it’s a great moment to look back at one of our favourite highlights.✨⬇️ During the conference, Amazon Fulfillment Technologies & Robotics challenged us to tackle a pick-and-place task they aim to automate in their workflows. 🤖TIAGo Pro took on the challenge and delivered! Using our teleoperation setup, the robot completed the full pick-and-place sequence with precision and reliability, showcasing how intuitive human–robot collaboration can unlock new possibilities for complex manipulation tasks. At PAL Robotics, we’ve always believed that robotics can be a powerful bridge between disciplines, and a recent scientific study has given us a perfect example of this.⬇️ A new research paper on social and observational learning in humans and monkeys features #TIAGo as an artificial agent used to study attention, cooperation, and social cues in macaques. 📄The researchers designed a controlled experiment where TIAGo interacted with a macaque through a transparent panel, using gaze direction and movement timing to trigger natural social responses. The results were striking: the macaque quickly began interpreting TIAGo’s head orientation as a meaningful social cue, adapting its behaviour within just a few trials. Why does this matter? ✔️ It demonstrates that humanoid robots like TIAGo can act as consistent, controlled partners in cognitive and neuroscience research. ✔️ It shows the potential of robotics to open new experimental paradigms in fields such as psychology, primatology, and HRI. We’re proud to see TIAGo contributing to innovative scientific work and enabling researchers to explore new experimental paradigms.🤖💡 👏🏻Congratulations to the authors for this fascinating study and for showcasing how robots can help us better understand ourselves and the world around us!
