It was a joy to see Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association’s inaugural Advocate of the Year Award presented today to partners from Organic Valley — people who show up, speak up, and lift up the dairy community. Their consistent engagement in our work — both in Washington, D.C. and in Wisconsin — has made a real, positive difference. Adam Warthesen has offered direction when strategy mattered and connections when doors needed opening, and both he and Rachel Rushmann swooped in with passion and persistence when the future of the Dairy Business Innovation Initiatives was on the line.
