Jim Kilby served as reviewing officer at the US Navy’s boot camp graduation, where the newest recruits earned the title of United States Sailor. In his remarks, VCNO lauded graduates for answering the Nation’s call, being fit to fight, and carrying forward the Navy’s 250-year legacy of service. Couture, had the honor of throwing the first pitch and administering the Oath of Enlistment during the Washington Nationals Navy Day game, welcoming the newest and bravest individuals who have chosen the US Navy and volunteered to serve our nation.
