We’re deeply grateful to Albertsons for their generous $65,000 grant in support of our collaboration with 104° West. This vital funding empowers us to continue strengthening food access and sovereignty alongside the Native Nations and tribal communities we share this land with.

Yesterday, we officially celebrated the completion of our brand-new facility with a special Ribbon Cutting & Welcoming Ceremony! The evening opened with heartfelt remarks from our President and CEO, Gayle Carlson, GPC, and our Board Chair, Kevin Condit, who shared their gratitude for the many incredible people and organizations that made this dream a reality. We were deeply honored to have Danielle Antelope-Gervais, Executive Director of FAST Blackfeet and longtime MFBN supporter, offer a beautiful blessing for our new space. We couldn’t imagine a better way to mark this milestone, or a more supportive community to share it with. We would like to extend a HUGE thank you to our Montana community for helping us grow and continue our mission together!

We’re excited to share that we have officially opened the doors to our new facility! This move marks a major milestone in our mission to end hunger in Montana, providing us with the space we need to expand our reach even further. What this new facility means: - We have doubled our freezer, cooler, and warehouse storage capacity (with room for 1,600 pallets of shelf-stable goods, 160 pallets of fresh produce, and 300 pallets of frozen meat, vegetables, and more). - Our volunteer capacity has more than doubled, which helps us save on costs and creates opportunities for even more community engagement. - We will be able to better support people experiencing food insecurity in Montana through expanding our network of partners and unique programs. We’re incredibly grateful to our supporters and to everyone who made this possible, with special thanks to Jackson Contractor Group, Inc. and LOCI Architecture + Design llc.
