It’s a packaging milestone! 📦 We’re over half-way on our journey to replace single-use plastic bags with paper-based packaging across our LEGO® factories. It’s a global effort, with the transition happening at different stages in each of our factories. Behind the scenes, our teams are working hard to transition packing lines, all while keeping our factories running smoothly. 🌎 We often get asked if new paper-based bags are recyclable...For the EU, US, and Canada, our bags have been verified as technically recyclable. 🏎️💐We brought play to the streets of the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix PRIX weekend!🩷🏎️ After the Grand Prix, over 418,000 LEGO® elements rolled on the Grand Prix track, bringing the top three drivers to the podium celebrations. The build, based on a classic pink 1950s Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special and driven by actor Terry Crews, surprised fans, who were able to get up close with the build as it was displayed at the LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX Paddock. Throughout the race weekend, together with Formula 1, we excited fans with playful LEGO moments such as LEGO Botanicals flower bouquets for all drivers that secured podiums on Race 1 and Race 2 of the F1 ACADEMY weekend. Earlier in the week, in the LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX pitlane, we revealed a new partnership with F1 ACADEMY, announcing the arrival of LEGO Racing to the grid in 2026, with Esmee Kosterman in the driver's seat. Additionally, fans will be able to get their hands on a LEGO Speed Champions F1 ACADEMY™ set allowing them to bring home this fabulous car in a small LEGO version. Yesterday in the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix pitlane, we announced our new multi-year partnership with F1 Academy!💜 🏎️ Starting in 2026, we will be racing on the F1 ACADEMY grid with a new team called LEGO® Racing and driver Esmee Kosterman, who has a rich history in junior racing series. The livery of the LEGO Racing car has been created by some of our talented LEGO designers, who have managed to combine the brand aesthetics of both F1 ACADEMY and the LEGO Group in the most amazing way. And if that’s not enough, fans will be able to get a LEGO Speed Champions F1 ACADEMY™ set allowing them to bring home Esmee’s fabulous car in a small LEGO version.
