21 February - International Mother Language Day: How language can influence the business and investment climate? Language is not only about culture and heritage, it is also an important economic resource. In today's world, a country that supports its language and develops its national identity forms a strong brand and attracts the attention of foreign partners. ✅ Language and trust in business Business is based on trust. When foreign partners see that a country preserves its language and culture, it shows its stability and identity. Languages are like bridges between people, and strong national communication helps build strong economic ties! ✅ Being bilingual is a real advantage and a distinctive feature of Belarus. Knowing the Belarusian and Russian languages opens up a wide range of opportunities for business communication and partnership with different countries. We understand cultural differences and adapt negotiation strategies to the specifics of our partners. This is especially important in international business, where the cultural context can make or break negotiations. ✅ Language and economy: a winning formula! World experience shows that supporting the national language in the business environment is a sure-fire way to boost the local economy, increase consumer confidence and make the country more attractive for international companies. Belarus, as a country with a rich history and two official languages, can effectively develop intercultural dialogue and economic partnership.

At the invitation of our partner - Kiçik və Orta Biznesin İnkişafı Agentliyi, NAIP joined the Joint Declaration of Baku Climate Coalition for green transition of Small and Medium Entrepreneurship. This document was officially initiated within the framework of the COP29. The participants of the declaration emphasize the important role of small and medium businesses in transition to a green economy and express their commitment to developing various measures that help accelerate the green transition for small and medium businesses. "We fully agree with the assessment of the role of SMEs in the transition to a green economy, which is postulated in the declaration. We do acknowledge the role of both raising awareness and creating levers, for example, the development of green financing system, green loans. Thanks to them, it is easier for SMEs to make decisions on implementing projects that not only bring profit, but also include the best environmental and social practices. NAIP is always ready to help investors in implementing such projects, that is, green investment projects, in our country," says NAIP Director Dzmitry Krasousky.

200 years ago (in October 1824), English bricklayer, businessman and inventor Joseph Aspdin patented a Portland Cement. It is the most common type of cement in general use around the world. The global cement market is now valued at over $400 billion and is projected to grow to $545 billion by 2030. 🌍 Even if cement technology seems fairly well developed, recent discoveries in nanotechnology and materials science have opened up the possibility of creating new intelligent functionalities in cement and concrete. For example, green cement, 3D printing of concrete, as well as self-healing & hydrophobic concretes, and even thermal energy concrete-based storage. These are attractors of investment in companies all around the world. The production capacity of Belarusian cement plants is over 5 million tons per year. The capacity of the domestic cement market is approximately 2.8 million tons. Learn more about the industry and business prospects in our analytical review: 👉 https://lnkd.in/dnpaZEAt
