We are proud to join in the launch of #EconomicMobilityforAll, a new statewide campaign dedicated to expanding access to professional licensing and entrepreneurship opportunities for all Californians regardless of their backgrounds, immigration status, or English language proficiency. Despite successful advocacy in past years to expand access to professional licensing and entrepreneurship opportunities, more work must be done to ensure that language access, restrictions on accumulating professional experience, and other barriers do not prevent immigrants from realizing their professional dreams. Every individual should have the opportunity to support themselves and their loved ones on their own terms. Learn more and join us at: bit.ly/joinem4a #EM4A

Educators, it's important to remind students and families that all information submitted in the CADAA is safe and secure—it’s ONLY used to assess financial aid eligibility and is NOT shared with the federal government or used for immigration enforcement. Sharing a few highlights and photos from the panel conversation with Rudy Espinoza, moderated by Veronica Vences, at the Latino Community Foundation's El Poder Latino. The panel highlighted #AB2543 and #SB1103, which provide more contracting opportunities and commercial tenant protections for underrepresented entrepreneurs. We emphasized the vital role of community organizations like Immigrants Rising and Inclusive Action for the City in shaping policy and how collaboration with community, lawmakers and government officials can drive real progress. The conversation also highlighted the importance of ongoing efforts to ensure laws are effectively implemented, as signing them is just the first step. Systemic change is both essential and achievable, but it requires a collective effort to make it happen. I'm grateful to work alongside such passionate advocates and leaders who are committed to building a more inclusive and equitable economy!

Our community power was strong in New Orleans! Last Thursday, ~300 DACA recipients from across the country showed up with great strength and passion for the DACA hearing in the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, to defend our existence and our families! ✊🏽 Although we do not have a decision yet, we know that DACA is right and should be protected by the court. We also know that immigrants are ESSENTIAL not only to the economy but also to the communities we are all a part of. We have built lives here with our families, and no matter what the decision is, WE ARE HERE TO STAY because our home is here! We will continue to fight not only to defend DACA but to win permanent solutions for ALL our communities.🦋 #HomeIsHere #DefendDACA #CitizenshipNow #ImmigrantRights #ImmigrantsBelong United We Dream FWD.us Immigrants Rising Make the Road Nevada Make the Road New York Make the Road New Jersey
