Investor @ Mayfield AI start Fund | Seed Investor, AI-First Companies

Congrats to the vijil team on the raise and being named a Gartner Cool Vendor in the 2025 Agentic AI Trust, Risk & Security Management (#AI_TRiSM) report ➖ 2025 was the year of vibecoding ➖ 2026 will be the year agents deploy from pilot → production 95% of agents don’t make it to production. Vibe -> Deploy -> Pray doesn’t work for enterprises. Agents evolve, so too should the infrastructure - evolve, adapt, and self-improve.  This production→dev learning loop compounds value. Vijil is an applied AI lab founded by ex-AWS SageMaker leaders who know what production at scale really means. CC Brightmind Partners (Stephen Ward), Mayfield (Patrick Salyer, Guru Pangal), Gradient (Darian ShiraziVig Sachidananda, PhD), Gartner (Arun Chandrasekaran)

Today marks a step change in how Vijil helps enterprises deploy mission-critical AI agents. We’re excited to share three milestones that mark progress on our mission: • $17M in new funding led by Brightmind Partners, joined by Mayfield and Gradient who partnered with us at inception. • Recognition as a Gartner Cool Vendor for advancing trust and security in AI agents. • ROI in trust proven by customers such as SmartRecruiters who deploy agents 75% faster with Vijil. Enterprises want to move from experimental agents to dependable ones. Our platform makes that shift possible: build with hardened models, test during development, verify before deployment, defend at runtime, and continuously improve from production telemetry. We're building the infrastructure layer of trust for agents deployed not in idealized demos but in real-world conditions. This round strengthens our ability to expand the platform, enable the evolution of agents with reinforcement learning loops over production data, and make resilient agents more broadly available to enterprises. If you’re taking agents into production and want to improve reliability, security, and safety, we’d love to talk. #Agents #trustworthyAI #trustedAgents #enterpriseAI #resilience #trust

    Co-founder & CEO - Range.com

I’m thrilled to share a major milestone for Range: Scale Venture Partners has led a $60M investment to accelerate our mission to put an AI-powered wealth manager in every American’s pocket. This partnership is a powerful validation of the future we’re building—one where intelligent, accessible, all-in-one wealth management is no longer a privilege, but a standard. Alexander Niehenke led the deal and will be joining our Board of Directors. From our earliest conversations, it was clear that Alex and the entire Scale team understand the magnitude of what AI will unlock for personal finance. Their conviction in the category, belief in our team, and ambition for what Range can become made this an incredibly natural fit. We’re excited to “scale” Range together and pursue our shared vision of becoming the world’s leading digital wealth platform. I’m also incredibly proud to welcome Haroon Mokhtarzada, CEO of Rocket Money, to our Board. Haroon is one of the rare founders who has built a multibillion-dollar fintech platform that truly improves people’s financial lives at scale. He brings unparalleled experience and a deep passion for helping consumers thrive financially. I’ve learned so much from him over the years, and officially building Range alongside him is going to be both inspiring and energizing. My cofounder David Cusatis and I are deeply grateful for our existing board members and investors—Darian Shirazi of Gradient and Simon Wu of Cathay Innovation —who continue to be steadfast champions of Range’s mission. Their support has been instrumental in shaping the company we are today. We’re also excited to welcome Jason Pritzker and the 53 Stations team to the Range family. This raise marks a new chapter—one defined by scale, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to helping families build and protect their wealth through the power of AI. My apologies to everyone I couldn't tag, but are instrumental in helping us build a world class company. If you don't see yourself tagged, LinkedIn simply stopped allowing me to tag folks! Jonathan Abrams, Kent Lindstrom, Andrej Henkler, Fadwa Ouardani, Denis Barrier, Denise T., Noah Gross, Aurelia Han, Damian Gardiner, Leblon Capital, Brave Capital, 8-Bit Capital, and all the amazing people at Range! Clarify is starting to get crazy good. We just rolled out AI Fields in Beta, and it’s pretty mind-blowing. Here’s a quick demo where I use it to automatically generate and populate a “Recent funding news” field based on what it can find on the internet. Before, I would’ve had to: --> Make a list of target companies in Clarify --> Export that list as a CSV and upload it into Clay --> Enrich the funding news there --> Re-export as a CSV --> Re-upload into Clarify Now it’s just… in Clarify. Insane. And huge shoutout to Igor Luchenkov for leading the project — absolute wizard of an engineer.

The future of AI is DENSE! And wafer-scale! Density AI "All the efforts to save microchip production in the U.S. come amid undeniable portents of the end of microchips."
