About us

frank green is not a person. It’s a philosophy. We started with an honest approach to sustainability – reducing single-use waste by reimagining cups and bottles. Since its inception in 2014, frank green has grown into one of the world’s most loved reusable cups and bottles brands and is rapidly expanding around the world - specifically the US. We all want to do better by our planet. We know how bad single-use coffee cups, water bottles, and plastics are for the environment. Our mission is to stop the manufacturing and use of single-use items by creating innovative products that are stylish, good for the environment and made to fit you.

  • This week, we launched one of our most joyful collaborations yet - a collection created in partnership with Sanrio, Inc.. frank green x Hello Kitty and Friends celebrates character, creativity and the simple moments that make every day a little brighter. For decades, Hello Kitty and Friends have inspired connection, nostalgia and delight. And at frank green, we believe the products you use every single day should feel just as personal and uplifting. That shared philosophy is exactly why this collaboration made perfect sense. This collection is about more than cute characters (though there’s plenty of that!). It’s about friends with purpose - blending iconic character design with our premium reusable products to create pieces that feel meaningful, expressive and unmistakably you. Whether you’re timeless and classic like Hello Kitty, bold and spirited like Kuromi, or sweet and dreamy like Cinnamoroll, each design in this range was crafted to help you find your perfect match and let your personality shine. We’re thrilled to share this collaboration with our ANZ community and can’t wait to see these characters become part of your everyday rituals. #frankgreen #HelloKitty #collaboration #designwithpurpose #reusablemadebeautiful

  • As Plastic Free July draws to a close, we’re reflecting on the actions, big and small, that are helping us live out our mission to eliminate single-use plastic, not just for a month, but for good. Here’s a look at some of the things our team has been doing behind the scenes beyond what they’ve mentioned in the video: ♻️We’ve introduced a Sip Cycle bin right here in our South Melbourne HQ. It’s a simple but powerful step toward circularity, allowing staff to responsibly return old lids and bottles so they can be disassembled and recycled. 🪱Every week, we gather to feed our office worm farm. Our food scraps get a second life, and the worms get a feast. It’s a great way to reduce organic waste while creating rich compost for local community gardens. ☕️Our coffee walks are 100% reusable. Whether it’s a team meeting or a solo morning stroll, we all bring our frank green cups because habits matter, and so does leading by example. 🌊And we continue to support the work of our partners at Parley for the Oceans. From education to ocean cleanups, their impact is global and we’re proud to contribute to a future where our oceans are protected from plastic pollution. We know sustainability isn’t about being perfect. It’s about progress, accountability, and showing up every day with purpose. Thanks for joining us this month and beyond.

  • Plastic isn’t just polluting our oceans - it’s entering our bodies. A recent study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences revealed that bottled water can contain galaxies of microplastics. Alarmingly, up to 90% of these particles are nanoplastics - small enough to pass into the human bloodstream. It’s a reminder that water, the very source of life, doesn’t belong in plastic packaging. We need to rethink the system that allowed this to happen. At frank green, we believe plastic is a design failure. That’s why we’ve partnered with Parley for the Oceans, supporting their AIR strategy: Avoid. Intercept. Redesign. Through this partnership, we’re helping fund coastal cleanups - like a recent expedition to Cape York along the Great Barrier Reef - and supporting broader education and awareness. Because every intercepted bottle, every beach cleaned, and every refill made with a reusable product is a step toward a better, more sustainable future. #PlasticFreeJuly #ParleyAIR #Microplastics #frankgreen #AvoidInterceptRedesign #SustainabilityInAction

  • One week of impact turned into a month of action 💚♻️ Last month, we launched Sip Cycle in partnership with select retailers nationwide. The idea was simple: give customers an easy way to recycle their beyond-use products, like bottle lids and bottles through a closed-loop system that keeps materials in circulation and out of landfill. The response was overwhelming. Retailers embraced the concept. Our community showed up with crates of well-loved products. And we saw first-hand what’s possible when people are given the tools to do better. So for Plastic Free July, we’ve expanded the Sip Cycle program across the country, transforming it from a one-week initiative into a growing, permanent feature of our sustainability journey. Sip Cycle is part of our commitment to rethinking not just what we make, but how we care for it over time. It’s one way we’re taking responsibility for the full lifecycle of our products — designing with intention and creating the infrastructure to support circularity. Because the future we want to see? It doesn’t end with one purchase. It starts with what we choose to do next. #PlasticFreeJuly #SipCycle #CircularDesign #RefillReuseRecycle #frankgreen #SustainableLiving #SystemicChange
