Drones were spotted over a Belgian nuclear facility last weekend – the latest in a series of incursions targeting airports, ports, and military sites across the country. 🚀 In #Q3 2025, Fortem Technologies secured orders for 12 of its counter‑UAS systems from U.S. allies in #Europe and the #MiddleEast — roughly double its deliveries for the same period last year. When unidentified drones can hover twice in 24 hours over a NATO base believed to house U.S. nuclear weapons — with helicopters scrambled and jammers deployed to no effect — it’s clear that the reactionary model of counter-UAS doesn’t work. The growing drone threat requires permanent, layered defense systems that are always on, always learning, and always ready. Every base, port, refinery, and airport is now part of the air domain whether we like it or not. Europe is waking up to this reality. The U.S. must do the same. Deploying “flyaway” kits that sit idle until the next incident is a waste of money and time we don’t have.
