These days, the term medical tourism generally rings alarm bells. Off-putting images of botched dentistry from low-cost clinics in Turkey have made travelers much more wary of seeking interventions abroad. But when the aim is not to save money but to spend it on the best that’s out there, it’s a whole different world. Among the world’s most affluent, jetting halfway around the globe for health or beauty treatments requires no second thought. And the hospitality sector has taken note. From Dubai to Switzerland, medical precision and five-star wellness hospitality have come together to offer extraordinarily exclusive regenerative escapes.

Student loan forgiveness processing appears to be continuing for borrowers, notwithstanding the ongoing government shutdown. However, many (if not all) of these approvals are for student loans in the IBR plan. In September, just prior to the shutdown, the Department of Education began sending notices to borrowers that they were approved for student loan forgiveness under IBR, signalling that the IBR loan forgiveness pause had been lifted. The notices gave borrowers several weeks to “opt out” of loan forgiveness before discharges would go through later in the fall. During the last week, borrowers have reported that their discharges are indeed being processed, with student loan servicers providing notifications of student loan forgiveness and zeroing out borrowers’ balances. "The World’s Youngest Self-Made Billionaires Are A Trio Of 22-Year-Old AI Founders"— "Mercor, a recruiting startup that helps Silicon Valley’s biggest AI labs to train their models, has just minted the world’s youngest self-made billionaires: the company’s three 22-year-old founders, a trio of Bay Area high school friends who competed together on their debate team. Earlier this week, the San Francisco startup announced a $350 million funding round led by Felicis Ventures, with participation from other bigwigs Benchmark , General Catalyst and Robinhood, valuing the company at $10 billion. The new infusion of cash makes CEO Brendan Foody, CTO Adarsh Hiremath and board chairman Surya Midha the newest billionaires of the AI boom, each with a roughly 22% stake in the company, Forbes estimates."
