Flexion Robotics

Robotics Engineering

Complex intelligence for simple human tasks.

About us

We are building the autonomy stack for humanoid robots - from command to control, from manipulation to locomotion, across any hardware and task. Leveraging the power of simulation and reinforcement learning, our software scales to the real world with minimal human involvement.

Updates

  • We’ve raised $50 million in Series A funding from DST Global, NVentures (NVIDIA's venture capital arm), redalpine, Prosus Ventures, and Moonfire, following our $7.35M seed round from Frst, Moonfire, and redalpine just a few months earlier, to build the autonomy stack that makes humanoid robots adaptive, intelligent, and ready for real-world deployment at scale.  In less than a year, our team has shown that long-horizon whole-body humanoid control can scale across hardware and tasks by leveraging the power of simulation and reinforcement learning. This funding will help us grow our team, scale our compute and robot fleets, and accelerate the commercialization of our autonomy stack with OEM partners globally. You can find more details in the links shared in the comments.

  • Excited to share that our co-founder Julian Nubert will be speaking at the AI+X Summit on Thursday, 2 October 2025 as part of the Zurich AI Festival! Date: Thursday, 2nd October 2025 Time: 10:45 AM Talk: Learning to Move, Think, and Adapt: RL as the Engine for General Robotics Duration: 15 minutes (incl. Q&A) Julian will explore how reinforcement learning can drive the future of general-purpose robotics. We’re looking forward to connecting with the incredible AI & robotics community in Zurich!

We’re organizing the world’s most talent-dense simulation hack in Zurich with NVIDIA and world-class Zurich startups Flexion Robotics and Jua.ai. This is the next flagship builders hackathon in Zurich. Happening from 10 October to 12 October. We will be joined by top researchers and entrepreneurs. Simulate anything. Physics, biology, digital twins, robotics, financial markets, weather/climate, psychohistory, … ✅ one H100 per participant ✅ maximal talent density ✅ top tier researchers/engineers from many fields Applications are now open. For our last robotics hack, participants flew in from Canada. The talent density will be even more insane this time. Apply here: https://luma.com/s4knila9 Organizing together with Anirudhh Ramesh.
