  • Eelume is redefining Maritime Mine Countermeasures (MCM) with the All-Terrain Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV/UUV) Eelume S Traditional MCM approaches expose naval forces to risk and are time-consuming and resource-intensive, particularly in High-Clutter Environments (HCE) and in areas with Low-Visibility Conditions (LVC).   In collaboration with the Norwegian Armed Forces, Eelume has recently executed operational MCM missions involving Mine Detection, Classification and Identification (D/C/I) followed by safe Neutralization by the Norwegian Armed Forces.   Operational data confirms that Eelume S surpasses conventional AUV/ROV platforms in D/C/I performance due to: ·        capability to operate extremely close to the seabed for high-resolution sensing and identification  ·        all-terrain AUV maneuverability for access in confined and complex environments and efficient sonar detection ·        low-drag configuration enabling long-range transit and persistent presence ·        highly flexible and low logistic system for quick mobilization and rapid response to changing threats   All D/C/I missions were conducted with Standoff MCM, monitored through a portable Remote Operation Center (pROC) providing: ·        over-the-horizon supervision ·        platform health monitoring ·        in-mission task and data updates    Legacy sea mines and ageing UXO introduce chemical leakage risks and uncertainty for maritime operations. Persistent UXO mapping enables the MCM Commander to build long-term Maritime Situational Awareness (MSA) and supports evidence-based decision-making for clearance in areas previously considered unmanageable by conventional AUVs Film: klasbu.no #AllTerrainAUV #MinistryOfDefence #Eelume #MineCountermeasures #MCM #UXO #AUV #NATO #MaritimeSecurity #StandoffMCM #D_C_I #MaritimeSituationalAwareness #NavalOperations #UnderwaterAutonomy #MCMWarfare #MMCM #FFI

  • 🛡️ Expanding the boundaries of Mine Countermeasure operations 🌊 Together with Forcys, we’re delivering a new level of capability for Allied naval forces — enabling safe, efficient and persistent mine-hunting operations in environments previously inaccessible to traditional AUVs. “Eelume S combines detection, classification and identification in one system — keeping personnel and vessels out of the minefield, and making MCM safer, faster and more efficient.” — Thomas Nygaard, CEO, Eelume ⚙️ Operational impact: • Proven capabilities in complex, high-clutter and confined seabed environments • All-Terrain maneuverability enables access and coverage beyond the limits of conventional AUVs • Integrated sensor suite and in-mission processing deliver true end-to-end MCM within a single mission Eelume significantly expands the operational envelope of mine hunting AUVs — transforming what’s possible beneath the surface and strengthening the safety and readiness of Allied naval operations. #AllTerrainAUV #Eelume #Forcys #MineCounterMeasures #UnderwaterAutonomy #DefenceTechnology #MaritimeSecurity #AlliedForces #Innovation #AUV #Norway #UK

  • 🌍✈️ This week we’re showing what a small but agile and dedicated team can achieve. While developing and delivering our unique autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV), we are present at three conferences – simultaneously: 🔹 SPE Symposium: Asia Pacific Deepwater (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) 🔹 Defence Conference, Hell – Norway 🔹 THSOA SE Chapter – Technical Lunch & Learn Hydrography (Tampa, Florida) 👉 At each of these events, we are demonstrating how Eelume’s flexible AUV concept can support the future of subsea operations – from deepwater energy to defense and hydrography. Just like our AUV can map any terrain beneath the surface, our team shows we can also reach anywhere above it – across continents, industries, and opportunities. Managing to exhibit on three continents at the same time, with the same passion and technology at the forefront, reflects our technology: small in size, big in capability. We look forward to engaging discussions and new collaborations at all three venues! 🚀🤝 #Eelume #AUV #Agility #Deepwater #Defence #Hydrography #Innovation #AllTerrainAUV
