Today, award-winning actors Joe Alwyn, Sheila Atim, and Benedict Wong joined industry experts to select the five nominees for the 2026 EE Rising Star Award. Now in its twenty-first year, the award celebrates emerging film talent and reflects our commitment to bringing audiences closer to the stories and stars they love, through the power of our network. Nominees will be revealed on 14 January 2026, when public voting opens via ee.co.uk/BAFTA, WhatsApp, and our social channels – ahead of the EE BAFTA Film Awards on 22 February 2026.
