🇬🇧 🤝 🇫🇮 Our National Armaments Director, Andy Start, met with his Finnish counterpart, Olli Ruutu, at this year’s DSEI UK to sign a new bilateral Defence Materiel Co-operation (DMC) Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Strengthening ties between the two countries, this new updated DMC MOU seeks to: ✅ Strengthen existing cooperation in the field of conventional defence technology to improve defence capabilities through better use of resources. ✅ Identify and promote joint activities that support the principles of standardisation and interoperability. ✅ Enhance the capabilities of both nations' defence industries by fostering cooperative research, development, production, procurement, and through-life support. ✅ Establish a practical framework for implementing bilateral cooperation activities in the defence materiel domain. #UKDefence #DSEI2025 #NADGroup Dstl Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) Defence Digital Defence Procurement UKDI Defence and Security Accelerator
