Every Dow Jones employee is granted an annual volunteer day to give back to their community. My colleague in Dow Jones Customer Service (DJCS), Whitney Muhammad, has elevated this initiative by establishing an incredible program called DJCS Impact. The program helps employees find meaningful volunteer opportunities and shares group volunteer days that bring us together for a shared purpose. This year, I had the privilege of participating in one of these group events in support of The Pantry at the Princeton Alliance Church. Together, we assembled Thanksgiving food packages for local families. It was a great experience and I encourage everyone to use their company's volunteer day if they have the opportunity. Dow Jones announced today plans to expand its global footprint in the Middle East in 2025, strengthening its news-gathering operations, sales functions and information services focused on risk and energy. Today, I had the privilege of spending my Dow Jones Volunteer Day at Carroll's Kitchen - a remarkable nonprofit that transforms lives through its Restorative Employment Model. Working alongside incredible women building new beginnings through culinary training, I witnessed firsthand how second chances and supportive employment can break cycles of crisis. From homelessness to hope, adversity to achievement - each story here reminds us of the power of opportunity. I'm proud to work for a company encouraging us to give back meaningfully to our communities. The most profound impact sometimes starts with a simple chance to start again.
